Mont-Saint-Hilaire, April 2nd 2020. – In response to the COVID-19 epidemic that is paralyzing the world, AttriX Technologies Inc. today announced a new initiative, the Electronic Health Check, to help its customers and the transportation industry to monitor the health of their drivers and ensure the continuity of their operations during the pandemic.

Meeting legal responsibilities to employees

As an employer, fleet managers are responsible for protecting the health and safety of their drivers and employees while at work. They are required to implement preventive measures to ensure that employees are not exposed to situations that could be detrimental to their health or safety while at work.

Thanks to the Electronic Health Check, managers are now able to confidentially monitor the health of their drivers while on the road, identify if a driver is showing symptoms and, as a result, take all preventive measures to ensure the safety of the driver and the people with whom he or she works.

An initiative in accelerated development

The Electronic Health Check is actually a driver health status form that exists through the Geotab Drive mobile application. This document allows drivers to quickly complete their status, share it with fleet managers while on the road and access company health protocols and guidelines.

The dashboard on the MyGeotab application allows fleet managers to view the health status of each driver and thus quickly identify a driver at risk who is showing symptoms and take the necessary action according to company protocols.

In addition to providing a continuous snapshot of driver health status, the interface identifies in real time the per capita VIDOC-19 infection rate for all regions in North America and assesses the risk level of each stop made.

The Electronic Health Check is one of the initiatives in accelerated development in order to help our customers during this exceptional period and their drivers, those who put themselves at risk on a daily basis to help our community get through this crisis.

“More than ever, immense pressure is being placed on the trucking industry to ensure the delivery of our food and medical products during this time of crisis. By implementing measures aimed at our industry players, AttriX remains proactive in the marketplace and ensures that we are part of the solution. I am extremely proud of our team who are working tirelessly to provide our customers and the industry with essential services that live up to our reputation,” said Anthony Mainville, President of AttriX.

The Electronic Health Check  has been deployed pro-actively this morning to all our clients using our Geotab Drive mobile application on both our Attrix Terminals and BOYD’s. Administrators MyGeotab interface also has the add-in already available.

For confidentiality purposes, only account administrators are allowed to view the EHR Dashboard and we ask all fleet managers to add required permissions within their internal protocols with their drivers. In no case can authorities consult the EHR during a roadside inspection.

The EHR is simple to use for both drivers and administrators however a detailed webinar to review its features will be scheduled next week. Please follow our mailchimp and facebook announcements for details.
