Mont-Saint-Hilaire – Boucherville, QC, December 21, 2023 – AttriX Technologies, a leader in telematics and ELD solutions and Geotab's main Heavy Duty Fleet partner in Canada, is proud to announce the successful completion of the full integration of its vehicle technologies across Groupe Robert’s fleet.
Groupe Robert chose AttriX's solutions powered by Geotab after a rigorous process in which all ELD certified technology providers in North America were invited to participate. The multidisciplinary team at Groupe Robert developed a specifications document with over a hundred points and criteria that potential suppliers had to meet. The selection process, which lasted a year, allowed Groupe Robert to gain a comprehensive overview of the telematics industry. According to Martin Longpré, Vice President of Corporate Affairs at Groupe Robert, AttriX quickly stood out during the competitive process.
“In a world where on-board technologies are becoming the pillar of transport operations, it was imperative for us to find a solution that is intuitive, agile, secured and above all, reliable. AttriX and Geotab brilliantly met this need, providing our drivers with a secure driver terminal and a customizable and fully integrated electronic driver workflow, capable of adapting to our various divisions. It was this combination of innovation and reliability that made AttriX the obvious choice for Groupe Robert.”
The entire AttriX Technologies team contributed to delivering a service offering that met Groupe Robert's expectations. And the team took great pride in meeting the challenge.
“Being chosen by Groupe Robert, known for its innovative spirit within an industry as demanding as logistics, is a tremendous honour for AttriX,” says Anthony Mainville, President of AttriX Technologies. “This collaboration with one of the industry leaders to achieve their ambitious goals is a privilege and a testament to our commitment to innovation and excellence. It is a recognition of our ability to meet complex challenges and make a significant contribution to the evolving landscape of transport.”
The ease of use was the first point that led to the choice of AttriX, said Martin Longpré.
“Since the beginning of the integration of AttriX's technology in Groupe Robert’s trucks, from the installation of equipment and training, the main feedback we get from our drivers is: It's so easy to use.”
The integration of this new fleet management and compliance system spanned just over two months and was completed on schedule, including the installation and programming of on-board cameras and driver terminals, training of over 900 drivers and managers, and the full integration of the platform with the dispatch systems.
“The deployment experience with AttriX has been remarkable,” says Martin Longpré. “In the face of every challenge, their team brought concrete and effective solutions. The integration of their driver terminal and GoRoute driver workflow into our systems was carried out with exceptional precision and speed, significantly enriching our operational functionalities. This transition was achieved in record time, without disrupting our daily operations, which is a testament to their competence and commitment to our success.”
For Anthony Mainville of AttriX Technologies, this integration into one of the largest carriers in the Canadian trucking industry demonstrates that adopting new telematics technology is possible and feasible.
“The successful transition of Groupe Robert to our solution ecosystem, in such a short time and without any hindrances, proves that upgrading crucial operational technologies is not only possible but can be achieved smoothly and effectively. This demonstrates to industry leaders that they should not be limited by 'we have always done it this way' or 'change is too complicated.' This success is a model for the entire sector.”
The completion of the integration of AttriX's telematics tools at Groupe Robert was highlighted on December 18 by the teams involved in the project within both companies.
