Mont-Saint-Hilaire, QC, January 8th, 2021 – At the peak of the second pandemic wave in Quebec, the health and safety of transporters has become more important than ever. Our technology allows fleet managers to navigate through this crisis.

Transportation: An essential service

Fortunately, the transportation sector is recognized as an essential service and can continue its operations, but under no circumstances should the safety aspect of these operations be neglected. In order to help truckers and fleet managers, the AttriX team has developed a heat zone map last spring.

Tools that emphasize drivers’ safety

This product, integrated with our fleet management system, allows us to visualize, in real time, the high-risk areas in relation to the position and the route of the trucks. The map is therefore an essential tool for managers trying to adapt to their new safety protocol, while preserving the efficiency of operations. The pandemic heat map can be found on the MyGeotab portal.

In addition, AttriX has also introduced the electronic health assessment, a questionnaire to be fill out in order to analyze the health status of truck drivers and ensure that each of them completes their work safely. For managers, it is a tool that displays the health status of drivers in real time.

All in all, this worldwide crisis highlights the importance and necessity of telematics for transportation safety.
