Mont-Saint-Hilaire Quebec – August 11th 2020 – AttriX, a Canadian Based ELD and Commercial Telematics provider, is very proud to announce its support for Propulsion Québec as Major Partner.

Propulsion Québec, the cluster for electric and smart transportation is focused at positioning Quebec as a global leader in developing and implementing smart and electric modes of ground transportation. The organization supports more than 160 members from startups to large companies, including Quebec institutional, research and mobility operators.

Through this unique initial 3-year partnership agreement, AttriX Technologies Inc., becomes the cluster’s first industrial Major Partner and will support Propulsion Québec’s efforts and contribute to the development of the electric and smart transportation industry in Quebec.

Emphasizing transporters’ electrification with the help of local businesses

“We are delighted to welcome AttriX into the Propulsion Québec family and count on the precious support of this key player in telematics and high caliber technologies for the next three years. This strategic partnership is part of our objectives to valorize and promote Quebec companies that develop their expertise in the field of electrification of transportation and innovative mobility solutions. This partnership is an excellent collaboration opportunity for our cluster with an industrial member who will contribute directly to the development of the electric and intelligent transportation ecosystem, and thus, reinvent the future of mobility in Quebec.” – Sarah Houde, CEO of Propulsion Québec.

“AttriX is honored to take action in the growth of this organization and its members, which we believe is crucial for the development of our Quebec ecosystem. The recent events demonstrated more than ever the importance of new initiatives around sustainable mobility. As of today, Quebec has the opportunity to position itself as a world leader in zero emission mobility towards the commercial vehicle industry, which is the second most important source of GHG emissions in Canada. We are proud to share our expertise for the benefit of several organizations in the optimization of driving and battery charging operations.” – Anthony Mainville, President Founder of AttriX Technologies Inc.

Commercial EVs: An evolution to be expected

“The efforts of Propulsion Québec will not only support Quebec’s EV industry but will also promote commercial EV adoption. The switch to commercial EV’s is inevitable, but we understand the hurdles facing fleet managers and owners. Thankfully the technology behind our Geotab and FleetCarma solutions put us in a unique position to not only advise EV manufacturers but most importantly help fleet managers implement the right strategies to assure beneficial transitions.” adds Mr Mainville.
