Dear AttriX Customers and Partners,

As announced by CCMTA on Monday, March 7, 2022, the implementation of the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) regulations has been further delayed. Due to delays in many provinces in meeting the legislative timelines required for successful implementation of EDRs, CCMTA has no choice but to extend the transition period. As a result, the WFD regulations are now set to come into effect on January 1, 2023. Until then, authorities will continue to support the transition by providing a period of education and awareness.

The AttriX team is aware of the challenges of the current situation in the realization of large-scale projects such as this one and recognizes the important contribution that Electronic Logging Devices make to the safety of drivers and motorists. The vast majority of our clients have already adopted the EWC for both their American and Canadian operations.

Our Canadian supplier, Geotab, which currently supports 300,000 trucks in North America with their ELD compliance, is continuing to work towards obtaining its certification, which should be announced shortly, despite the additional delays announced by CCMTA.

Geotab's exhaustive certification will ensure support for 4 current and previous devices, without sacrificing any of Geotab's unique features advocated by our users, including multilingual support, the flexibility of its iOS and Android compatibility, and support of variable day start time (other then midnight), while maintaining the highest level of cybersecurity in the industry with its ISO 27001, FedRamp, FIPS140-2 certifications.

We thank you for your support and trust,

The AttriX team.
