In order to make the compliance of hours of service and DVIR more engaging with drivers, AttriX complements the compliance aspect of the driver competition with the possibility of adding service time violations in Driver Challenge weighting as well as uncompleted DVIR’s.

The initiative allows drivers to be more sensitive to their driving hours as well as the importance of completing their pre-trip inspection and improve in comparison to their pairs. Also, the dashboard allows managers to have a quick look at the complete status of their fleets or groups and see the improvement of these in real time.

“This request was made several months ago by a fleet of 10,000 trucks in the United States currently deploying the Driver Challenge, management in terms of status and the ELD standard became heavy for the size of the fleet but the HOS inclusion in the Driver Challenge allows drivers to get involved in improving hours of service while having fun, which greatly facilitates management. “explains Anthony Mainville, President of AttriX Technologies.

With the advent of the ELD standards, more than 3.9 million heavy trucks in the United States must use an ELD solution, in Canada this law will come into force soon for Canadian operators.

For fleets of all sizes, the inclusion of Hours of Service and Pre-Trip in the Driver Challenge will facilitate the adoption of electronic logs and DVIR’s while rewarding drivers who have an impeccable score in their quarter.
